Request a lower-floor apartment—there is no elevator, the stairs are steep, and climbing them is harder after strong vodka shots.

About Scharffenberg Apartments

Scharffenberg Apartments brings a little old-Krakow grandeur to a stay in the heart of the city. Set inside a sensitively renovated historic building, its eight apartments pair classic styling with the freedom of a self-contained home: generous rooms, private bathrooms, proper kitchens and independent heating. It feels more private than a conventional hotel, while still offering practical help with extras and tailored arrangements when needed.

The address is the real trump card: at the meeting point of Grodzka Street and the Main Square, with the Cloth Hall about 140 metres away and Wawel Royal Castle roughly 900 metres on foot. This is an excellent base for couples, families, longer-stay visitors and small groups wanting Krakow’s Old Town on the doorstep. Apartments sleep two to four, Wi-Fi is included, and the property can accommodate up to 23 people in total. Young children can stay without charge when sharing a parent’s bed, and cats and dogs are welcome too.

Guest comments were not provided, so there is no reliable review pattern to report. On paper, though, the combination of central location, roomy apartment layouts and kitchen facilities makes this a particularly practical choice for travelers who value space and independence alongside historic surroundings.
