What guests mention

rooms are small milanos pinguinos sea view bar staff beautiful beach half board evening entertainment plenty of choice hotel is great entertainment team plenty of sunbeds choice of food

Guests tend to come away happiest with the unbeatable position beside Son Bou Beach, especially those in sea-view rooms. The hotel is often described as clean, good value and well set up for families, with friendly staff, active entertainment, two pools and a broad buffet selection earning frequent approval. However, expectations should be realistic: bedrooms are commonly considered small and dated, as are parts of the public areas. Noise from entertainment and busy shared spaces can bother light sleepers, while service and added costs receive more mixed feedback.

About Sol Milanos Pinguinos

Sol Milanos Pinguinos is a lively, family-minded resort with its strongest feature right in front of it: the long sweep of Son Bou Beach and wide-open Mediterranean views. The mood is practical rather than boutique-polished, with a busy programme of shows, live music and activities giving the place plenty of energy, especially during school holidays. Two pools offer a choice between a lagoon-style swim and a more active sports pool, while Katmandu Adventures Clubs keep younger guests entertained.

Set directly beside Son Bou’s celebrated sandy beach on Menorca’s south coast, it is an easy pick for families and beach-first couples who would rather spend their days by the sea than exploring from a city base. Sea-view rooms are the ones to seek out. International buffet meals include local dishes, and half-board or all-inclusive stays suit guests who value having dining and daytime snacks close at hand. Pets are not accepted.

Guests regularly praise the beach access, lovely outlook and hardworking entertainment and bar teams. They also appreciate the food selection and the availability of sunbeds. The trade-off is that rooms can feel compact, and some areas show their age; guests looking for a quiet, design-led escape may prefer somewhere smaller and more recently updated.
