What guests mention

blue bar beautiful hotel pool area junior suite bali beds welcome drink plenty of choice half board relaxing holiday views are stunning sun loungers steam room

Guests tend to love the elevated seafront setting, especially the expansive water views from rooms, terraces and the pool. Staff are widely described as warm and attentive, while cleanliness, the spa facilities and the variety at half board receive frequent praise. Junior suites and larger balconies are particularly popular, and evening entertainment adds to the holiday atmosphere. On the less glowing side, some rooms feel due for a style refresh, and competition for poolside loungers can be frustrating. Overall, travellers see it as a relaxing, good-value adults-only stay.

About Sentido Punta del Mar Hotel & Spa

Sentido Punta del Mar Hotel & Spa is an adults-only retreat with a quietly polished, sea-facing feel. Perched on a slope above the Mediterranean, it makes the most of its setting: broad terraces, a pool looking out to the water, and a restaurant where the view is part of the meal. The atmosphere is relaxed rather than lively-resort hectic, with a Blue Bar for sunset drinks and Balinese beds adding a little extra indulgence.

Santa Ponsa’s centre and main beach are around 1.5 km away, while a smaller bay and shops are within an easier walk. It suits couples, friends and solo travellers aged 16 and over who want a peaceful base with access to the resort when they choose. Rooms include balconies and sea views, while junior suites bring more space, seating areas and useful extras. There is also an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and fitness room for slower days.

Guests regularly single out the striking views, spotless surroundings and genuinely welcoming staff. The pool area, generous half-board buffet selection and themed evenings earn plenty of praise, as do upgrades to junior suites with large balconies. A few guests find parts of the room décor a little dated, and sun loungers can be in demand, but the prevailing mood is of an easy, well-cared-for holiday hotel with excellent value.
