About La Goleta Hotel de Mar

La Goleta Hotel de Mar is a polished little adults-only retreat with the sea virtually at its doorstep. Rebuilt in 2015, it pairs a clean, stylish look with an easygoing Mediterranean feel: just 28 double rooms, most with balconies facing either the bay or the Tramuntana mountains, plus a Jacuzzi suite for a more indulgent stay. The rooftop pool is the real scene-stealer, looking across the mountains and water.

Right on the beachfront in Port de Pollenca, it is a particularly good fit for couples, beach walkers and cyclists wanting a smart base without the scale of a large resort. The hotel’s Mediterranean dining adds to the appeal, while useful details such as bike storage, beach towels, laundry facilities and complimentary tea and coffee make short breaks feel pleasantly uncomplicated.

Guests tend to appreciate the thoughtful finishing touches as much as the setting. Sea-view superior rooms, the lovely beach immediately outside and the rooftop pool are frequent highlights, while the hotel’s stylish atmosphere and excellent position in Puerto Pollensa often make stays feel special without becoming overly formal.
