What guests mention

entertainment team self service french guests pool bar salad great holiday bravo team bar staff kids pool evening entertainment plastic cups ice cream

Guests particularly value being able to step straight from the hotel towards the beach, along with tidy public areas, generously sized rooms and a welcoming team. The activities staff, pool bar and child-friendly facilities help create a lively holiday atmosphere, especially for families. That said, the accommodation can feel plain and a little behind the times, while noise and occasional communication difficulties are mentioned. Sun loungers may be scarce at peak times, and buffet meals, despite a reasonable selection including salads and ice cream, can become monotonous. Value for all-inclusive stays divides opinion.

About Globales Cala’n Bosch

Globales Cala’n Bosch is the sort of easy-going Menorcan base that puts the sea at the centre of the holiday. Refreshed in 2014/15, it has a straightforward, mid-range feel, with 188 air-conditioned rooms, each with a balcony, and a relaxed set-up geared towards families, couples and groups of friends. There are separate pools for adults and children, a pool bar and snack bar, plus activities and themed dining evenings to keep days pleasantly busy.

Its real advantage is the setting: the hotel opens directly onto Cala’n Bosch beach, with its clear blue water and sandy shoreline just beyond the grounds. Cala’n Bosch marina is about 150 metres away for watersports, restaurants and an evening wander, while Ciutadella is 11 km away for a change of scene and a dose of Menorca’s history. It suits travellers who want a beach-first break without needing a car for every small outing.

Guests regularly warm to the cheerful entertainment crew, helpful bar staff and clean shared spaces, and families appreciate the children’s pool and evening programme. Rooms are generally considered roomy and well kept, if rather simple in style. The main frustrations tend to be the scramble for loungers, busier periods around meal times, and food that can feel repetitive over a longer all-inclusive stay. Still, many leave describing a genuinely enjoyable family holiday.
