Visit the natural swimming pool a few yards from the apartments.

Try speaking a little Spanish, even just a few words.

Use the direct route to reception instead of walking through the restaurant.

Expect sheets and towels to be changed weekly, and ask if you need replacements sooner.

Buy extra toilet roll because the apartment initially provides only one roll.
