Request a high-floor room, ideally away from the pool and floor 9 reception, for better views, privacy, and quieter balconies.
What guests mention
Guests tend to rate HSM Sandalo Beach highly for its excellent value, tidy apartments and standout views over the bay, with balconies, the pool area and pool bar often singled out as holiday highlights. The location works especially well for beach time, nightlife and groups of friends, and reception staff are frequently remembered warmly. On the other hand, the steep approach is a real consideration for anyone with mobility concerns, while Magaluf’s energetic late-night atmosphere may feel too noisy for quieter travellers.

About HSM Sandalo Beach
HSM Sandalo Beach is a straightforward, good-value hillside base with the sort of panorama that makes you linger over breakfast: every studio and apartment faces the Mediterranean, with a generous terrace for taking it in. The mood is relaxed by day around the adult pool, children’s pool and pool bar, then livelier once Magaluf’s nightlife gets going. Accommodation ranges from open-plan studios to one-bedroom apartments with a separate living area and equipped kitchen, making it handy for friends travelling together as well as couples.
The sandy, Blue Flag beach is roughly 150 metres away, while the strip’s bars, restaurants and shops are close at hand. Western Park, karting and the Pirates show are also nearby, and golfers have courses within easy reach. Palma is 13 km away, with a bus stop about 300 metres from the property. Do bear in mind that the hotel is set on a steep slope, so it is better suited to active guests than anyone with limited mobility. A 24-hour supermarket, reception, Wi-Fi and poolside snacks add useful convenience.
Guests particularly appreciate the sparkling sea views from the balconies, clean surroundings and welcoming reception team. The pool bar and social, youthful atmosphere also get a lot of love, especially for friends on a sunny break. The trade-off is the climb back from the beach and resort centre, plus the nearby party scene, which will not suit those seeking a quiet retreat.
